Morons

Arguing with a moron just proves there are 2 morons.
Hatred is bad business. Going to war with a neighbor over blowing leaves is stupid.

Rent maximizing Corporations or "landlords" are only interested in profit now. You can only have a master/slave relationship with them. If you are negotiating with them, they know you are weak. If you let them walk over you, they think you stupid and weak, and will walk over again.

I don't know the laws for the OP's neighborhood, but if the land is residential, not commercial, then he has the right to expose what is going on.

This is like the folks who move out to farm country then whine about the noise and odors that come with it.

As for the OP's situation a thumbs up and no stoppage of activity would have been my approach, no need to suffer fools. Engaging in my experience does no good at all.

That reminds me of a situation in this area when it was more rural. A wealthy couple bought some acreage in farm country and proceeded to build a million dollar mansion. Apparently, they did most of this remotely, rarely visiting the site till the house was completely built.

When they moved in, the wind was blowing just right and they became acutely aware of the hog farm that was a quarter mile or so away.

They took the hog farmer to court to (I guess) make him sell his hogs and start raising roses. The judge had to tell them that they had moved into farm country --- DEAL WITH IT!

About the OP:
I would be willing to bet that if the OP left the leaves, tree branches, and other debris just laying where it fell, the renters would angrily complain that they were not paying good money to vacation around such slovenly neighbors!
