Mossberg model 54300 20 gauge 8 shot persuader

I bought this 20 gauge 8 shot persuader here while back on gun broker for 250. With background check and transfer fee it came out to 265. It was super dirty and banged up when I got it. I cleaned it up real good and it looked like the gun had never been shot. The dirt I assume was dust from riding around in someone's truck.

Anyway I have done the following mods to it thus far.

Elzetta zsm flashlight mount

Energizer 700 lumen flashlight (this is an anodized aluminum light with some heft to it. The best part is you can find them for around 15.00 on amazon. It's an amazing deal.)

NDZ performance cerakote fde safety (metal).

Tac star 12 gauge aluminum side saddle plate. The trigger pin screw that came to this was to long as it was for a 12 gauge but I ground it down flush with my dremel.
I then attached industrial strength velcro to the plate and heated it with my heat gun. It's not going anywhere that's for sure.

Brown coat tactical velcro side saddle.

13" synthetic stock.

Quake industries the claw mossy oak bottomland 2 point sling.

Got a little 510 Youth Model that is my truck/SXS utility gun...... only 3+1 but was dirt cheap used and anyone in the family can utilize it.

What's the length of pull on that one?????

mine has an Uncle mike ammo carrier on the butt..... Two slugs( pointed up) and four #4 buck (pointed down)

What's the length of pull on that one?????

Nice sensible setup. The 20 ga. With appropriate ammo is a very good "defender of the castle" gun.

The Mossberg 500 series is my favorite when it comes to workhouse pump shotguns. They're inexpensive, reliable, rugged, and the layout is just perfect.

My current Home Defense Shotgun is a Mossberg 590 Shockwave 12 Gauge, which is extremely handy due to its small size, but I'm considering SBSing it somewhere down the line. Sure, I could just add a brace, but given the price of braces I think I'd rather just spend $200 on a tax stamp then be able to legally add any stock I want to it without having to worry about the legal OAL or the ATF suddenly deciding to reclassify something or other that renders the configuration no longer legal.

13" with that stock but it's like 12 with the bantam stock and then if you put the spacer and extra butt plate itd like 13.5

Had bad luck with the Elzetta mount eventually shifting under recoil even with proper torque and loctite. This was on a Mossberg 20 gauge.
