Just went to walmart.com to check if any surrounding stores had 9mm or 22 lr ammunition in stock. Nothing comes up except some shotgun ammo. So much for being able to check availability of ammo.
My local Wal-Mart has ammo but it is hit or miss. I have been looking for 22lr also. He told me they are getting in but he never knows when, and when it does come in it is put on the shelf. They limit the number of boxes to 5 that one person can buy. He said all the ammo is that way right now. He also told me that this store will be stocking some reloading equipment.
i bought 2 boxes of 40s&w yesterday and they had stickers on them that had a phone number to call if it was being sold somewhere else.
I tried to scatch it off and it just flakes off it wouldnt peel off. Looks like whoever is in charge of that might just be pretty smart trying to keep people from price gouging others.
I went to Walmart yesterday "Tumwater WA." and except for shotgun/rifle the shelves were bare. I thought it was bad a few weeks ago but now even the odd ball ammo is gone.
Stopped by WM this morning, the usual empty shelves except for the 36 boxes of Winchester 5.56mm. That was a surprise, nevertheless I bought my alloted three boxes. Would hazard a guess the rest were gone by noon.
You guys are really lucky when it comes to Walmart. The shelves are completely empty here, well enough getting pistol ammo. I lucked out two weeks ago, I went to gun show and was able to get 3 bricks of .22 lr at $ 62.00 each.
