Never noticed, I think my brain automatically ignores all aspects of the plasticized pieces, I hardly consider them really guns. Of course yes I am an old fart so there is that. If you consider guns as merely tools(which they are)which I don't, I see a beautifully blued, nickle gun etc. as much as a work of art as a tool. I see the expertise and care that goes into making a hunk of metal(and don't get me started on beautiful REAL wood grips/stocks) into something functional and beautiful. Yes I drive an old El Camino too. Who wants to sell a work of art unless in dire straits or upgrading hence the large number of pseudo guns for sale.
