Most common handgun seen up for sale

Never noticed, I think my brain automatically ignores all aspects of the plasticized pieces, I hardly consider them really guns. Of course yes I am an old fart so there is that. If you consider guns as merely tools(which they are)which I don't, I see a beautifully blued, nickle gun etc. as much as a work of art as a tool. I see the expertise and care that goes into making a hunk of metal(and don't get me started on beautiful REAL wood grips/stocks) into something functional and beautiful. Yes I drive an old El Camino too. Who wants to sell a work of art unless in dire straits or upgrading hence the large number of pseudo guns for sale.

Glocks by far in my part of the woods.

My theory is, it's because Glock is THE name most associated with a semi-auto pistol these days, and as such... I've seen it play out many times at my LSG, where a new perspective gun owner walks in and ask about them by name, when asked why Glock, they answer it's what they've seen or heard about the most.

And why not? They seem to be what's prominately mentioned by the TV news everytime some punk shooting takes place on the streets.

Also:

"If a Glock is good enough for my local Police Department, then it's good enough for me."

If a person is unfamiliar with the various brands, that's a safe approach.
