Most expensive Model 3 Ever?????

Reminds me . . . .

A late friend showed me and some others his extensive collection one evening. He was a nationally known collector. He had some absolutely stunning pieces. An engraved, pristine Schofield among them.

He let me handle a pistol that was worth perhaps a million dollars. It was a Spanish pistol engraved as a present to Hermann Goering. If real, it was worth a million. I asked him if he had any documentation.

"No."

Interesting piece. Worth $2,000 or $1,000,000.

No way to tell which.

Well... I have this very tall steel tower for sale, in Paris, if anyone is interested.:D

I'm all over it! Shoot.....where'd that sock in my drawer go?!

For Sale, inquire within ... Once owned by Jesse James ?

There's always some sort of a deal to be had (or for a buyer to "get had") somewhere .... LOL !

... AND, it ACTUALLY happened ... more than once ! ROFL ! The Man Who Sold The Brooklyn Bridge Twice a Week for 30 Years

PS: UPDATE ! Just purchased by Don (See post 38). Check back next week. :)

ALL JOKING ASIDE ... for a "famous owned " gun, the provenance better be irrefutable. And, I'd ask for a auction house appraisal, stating same, backed by a irrevocable surety bond e.g. Lloyd's of London, as to the provenance of the item, authenticity of the chain of custody (and all sales promotional hype being advertised and valid ownership of seller, for the full purchase price. Similar to what major auction houses such as Sotheby's and others must comply to on items such as artwork and antiques.
