Is it just me or does that Eustace guy seem like he's hiding a criminal past or is otherwise some kind of scumbag? I can't put my finger on it but the guy just seems kind of slimy to me. All of the other guys profiled come across as hard-working, independent, honest "good neighbor" types who are just doing their own thing in the wilderness. But Eustace seems to be the kind of guy who is claiming to be independent out of one side of his mouth while living off of government welfare......I could be totally wrong, but I wouldn't trust any of my family members around that guy....

I have thought their was something about him too.

He does seem really whiney to me.

I haven't seen Mountain Men in a while, but, when I did watch, Eustace did strike me as somewhat of a scammer. Join his little group and he will farm out the work he wants you to do and you get the privilege of being near him and hear his words of wisdom and self reliance, all for little to no money. "Sight those rifles in for me will you, and, here's a bullet for each one to get a zero".
