Mounting a Holosun HS507K X2 Holographic Sight

I just purchsed the M&P .22 mag and the Holosun HS507K X2 Holographic Sight. Is there anything I need other than the 6-32 x 1/2 mounting screws?
Any advice for mounting would be appreciated

I’ve got one on my Glock 48, only issue I’ve ran into is the battery tray screw coming loose. Seems to be a common occurrence online I recommend blue lock tight and checking it after heavy shooting. Holosun was quick to send out a new one for free when it came loose and was lost in the leaves while shooting one weekend.

The 407K and the 507K will mount right up with the screws only…no adapter needed, but I recall I had to go to the local hardware to get screws that fit (6-32). The ones that came with the optic did not fit.

Yes- the 507K should mount directly to the pistol but you may or may not need different length 6-32 screws. I had to use the S&W No. 1 plastic adapter plate and Holosun screws to mount a 507C on my M&P 10mm 2.0. I recently swapped out the S&W plate for a C&H metal plate because the fasteners seemed to be working loose. I also just changed out the CR1632 battery, and as shown50 says, put a little blue Loctite on that tiny battery tray screw to keep from losing it! You shouldn't have an recoil issues with your .22 Magnum. Good luck, and enjoy!

You can get the correct screws here if you don’t want to go digging around in hardware stores.
