Mouse guns to the range

Mouse guns were my second love, second only to my 1911's!

I really should drag all of mine out for a show and tell.

I've had a 25 Auto pocket gun for quite a while, an Iver Johnson Walther clone. It is a bit too small for my paws has a few misfeeds per session and not a lot of fun to shoot. I thought of reloading for it, but the components are really small and my sausage fingers drop a lot of the factory rounds so I haven't tried. But to fill that mouse gun niche I purchases a Beretta 81 in 32 ACP. This is about the smallest gun I'm comfortable with shooting and reloading...

I've had the LCP for years & recently p/u the Max. Oddly enough I enjoy shooting both of them & get to the range as often as I can.

Someone with good computer skills should post that old add of a bear killed by a .25 auto. A Colt if I remember right. I would love to have one of those little beauties. Wasn't interested when I used to see them.

Shot a Sig 365 .380, definitely my next purchase for a pocket carry. Accurate with little recoil, much easier to keep on target during rapid fire.

Wait . . . that's not how I heard the story.

Two guys going hiking in the hills. One packs a .25 in his pocket.

Other guy asks, "What's that for?"

"Bears."

"Ha ha ha, you can't kill a bear with a .25!"

"Don't need to. If a bear charges, I shoot you in the knee, and then I can run away."
