Just a heads up for anyone looking for the short 10 round magazines. Midway is accepting backorders for them 2 per customer. Expected arrival date is mid November.
Just placed my order.

Didn't see them listed. Just the 10 rd long mags.

Trying to decide if I want to order 2 of these. I already put an order in for two 25 round magazines from Midway. Should I or shouldn't I?

I got 2 on back order, expected date is 11/23/13,
Thanks for the heads up.

I have to ask, are these in high demand in certain areas of the country where 25 rd mags are prohibited? Just curious, I saw one on ebay and it went for over $70! WOW

Wow! I figured that people that spend that much on a mag are just gun newbies and didn't know where else to look. $70 for 1 mag.

I guess demand does drive up prices. When Mr. Obama first went into office I saw 30 round that had be converted to 10 rounders sell for $100 each in California.

I wonder when S & W plans on filling backorders for the short 10 rounders, I've been waiting since February (like a lot of people)

that's crazy, especially since the 10 round long mags are readily available for $20. I guess either people are misinformed or really want a short mag for the bench. Midway has the 25 round long on sale for $15. They must have a boat load of inventory otherwise I doubt they would put them on sale. Same goes for the MP22 12 round mags for $24. Both on sale right now.

I'd hope if they had a big pile of magazines to send to Midway, they'd take care of their in house orders too...

I'm hoping for a lot of easing on stuff that's been hard to find. Midway has a LOT of .22 that is not up for backorder. With any luck that means the trucks are moving and a whole bunch of stuff is about to hit the market.
