Just picked up a NIB, never fired S&W 2.0 10MM at a gun show yesterday. Got a great deal on it. Owner wanted a 9mm instead. Me being a 10mm guy jumped on the deal.

Can't wait to shoot it and try it out...

Everything I read about these guns is that they are pretty good shooters, no real issues..

Did you buy the 4" or 4.6" bbl. version? I've been extremely happy with the 4.6" that I bought new in Sept. 2022...very accurate and comfortable to shoot and no issues whatsoever. I added a Holosun 507C RDO and a Nightstick light. Recently I replaced the plastic S&W optics plate with a C&H metal plate. I think that you'll really like that 10mm, especially since you got a great deal on it. How about some photos? Enjoy!

You'll love it.

My 4.6 has some growing pains but it's getting worked out. Happens sometimes, but I'm pushing through them because I like 10mm, and I like the M&P platform. Fits my hands the best.

If you have any issues with it there are a couple fixes that will get it running right.

I know 9mm is all the rave right now, but I'm still a 40/45/10mm fanboy even though I mostly CCW 9mm right now. It's been Institutionally inbred in me to like the larger calibers. I just can't help myself, not my fault!

If you’re going to lug around a big gun with “mm” on the end of the caliber, the M&P is the best one, for me. People complain about the rough texture of the grip. I prefer that. I have the 4.6” version and it handles my mid-range handloads perfectly. Never a bobble, and I don’t do headstamp sorting or any special case prep. It’s not finicky at all. I have never tried it with the bear-cruncher boutique loads, and probably won’t. Too much money to fool around with something I’ll never use. I trust you’ll be happy with your new M&P. :)

I have the 4" barrel. I wanted something a little more compact. I have a Glock 20 which I love. This S&W is considerably smaller in length than the G20. I am also looking at the new compact Sig 10MM P320 X10 Carry Comp. That looks like a very nice gun as well.

I bought the 4" M&P in February and love it. Zero problems, very accurate, and fits my hand perfectly. I shoot mostly 180 grain Sig ammo at over 1250 fps and recoil is not bad at all and my my 120lb fiance loves shooting it. The trigger is the best of any striker fired gun I've ever shot.

I have to second your last sentence. That's my experience, too. I love my M&P 2.0 10mm.
