Have a new MP MP compact, 3.6 OR on the way.

It comes with the tall co-witness sights for optics.
Pretty sure I will not be mounting an optic on this one, so I'd like to replace the tall sights with some lower, no snag sights.

Anyone know of some compatible, lower sight sets?

Try it first , say 400 rounds and then decide if a sight change is needed . It not a target handgun so not like sights are all that important unless you never learn to use some variation of Flash Sight Picture defensive style of shooting .

Search at You Tube for - shooting a handgun with no sights .

If you feel a changes are needed maybe a contrasting paint on the front sight dot like bright testers yellow and black out rears !

XS makes both 3 dot and big dot sights for the OR M&Ps. They no longer list the standard height 3-dot sights on their website but Midway still has them in stock:

XS sights for M&P OR

Lots of options for regular M&P pistols but they cannot be used on the OR models because the rear sight is different.

I bought a Compact OR to try with a red dot but due to my eyesight decided optics on handguns are not for me. Still debating whether or not to replace the suppressor height sights. A compact 2.0 is a bigger gun than I will carry so the tall sights hanging up on a holster is not an issue and the tall 3 dot sights work pretty well for me. In general I prefer a blacked out rear and bright orange front dot but am not sure I that preference is worth the cost of new sights.

I have come to love the Trijicon HD sights. They really draw your eyes to the FRONT sight which is critical.

I didn't see any sights on that link for OR M&Ps. With a regular M&P the rear sight hangs behind the dovetail. With the OR it is directly on top of the dovetail.

This makes the rear sight shorter so there is room on the slide for both the iron rear sight and a red dot.

Trijicon does make great sights but not for OR M&Ps, at least not yet.

Personally I would try the factory sight 1st: but, if you are looking for a no-snag set, Novak's Low Mount Carry line has quite a few choices, including ones with an adjustable rear sight, Tritium etc.

Novak sight were one of the original no-snag options for 1911s...

Cheers!

P.S. My M&P 40 Compact is a 1.0 : it shoots all three calibers (40 S&W, 9mm & 357 SIG) close enough to point of aim for me with the standard sights.
