The base (old bolt head0
The tube in the base under the spring is a coin cutter.
The top piece with the slit and set screw is the coin die.
The piece you can't see held in the coin die is the forming die.

Some use a 2 step gc maker. The coin cutter on them is solid. They both use the same coin die (piece with a slit that holds the gc stock/material).

The hollow cutting tube allows for the finished gc to fall thru it and out the bottom.

Basically the stock goes in the slit the press ram comes down and exerts force pushing the stock onto the coin cutting tube. The coin cuts and as you keep pushing down the coin rests on the coin cutting tube and the forming die stamps the gc and pushing it down the hollow tube.

Extremely simple to use and can easily make 400/500 gc's an hour.

A $30 roll of flashing at lowes (10" x 50ft) will make +/- 2000+ gc's depending on the caliber.
