Anyone who got their rifles back from S&W, do you have an issue with the ejector being too far towards the ejection port. I got it back filthy and went to clean it. When I ran the cleaning rod through the barrel (I don't have a boresnake), the ejector was pressing really hard against it. It actually scratched the hell out of the rod. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

I know exactly what you are talking about, and yes it is. just got mine back yesterday

solution, send the rod down the muzzle end and stop when you hit the ejector, don't force it.

Sorry, my question is does anyone have a problem cleaning their rifle because the ejector is pointed too close to the center of the barrel. As I push the cleaning rod through the barrel, the ejector presses right up against the cleaning rod and scratches it pretty hard. these are the best pics I could get.

to add to that, I believe that is part of their "updated to latest spec" It is also the result if anyone did the "5 minute ejector fix" - aka bend the ejector in a 1/16"

Yeh, I don't know why they messed with the ejector because it was the extractor that blew out due to an OOB.

Alot of people were having problems with the guns not ejecting spent shells and bending the ejector towards the center was found to fix that, as they get returned guns they are "updating them all to latest spec" and that is all part of it.

I had the OOB also and my ejector was adjusted also.

on a side note: did you send in your mag? and did you get it back saying "25 rounds" on the one side?

my question is: on the right side of the mag does it say "22LR" only or "22LR 25 ROUND"?

so if i send in my gun i have to worry about they messing up the extractor just to get a 25 round magazine

ok cause I have three other mags that I bought in mid december when I got the gun and they only say 22lr, and there is a slight difference in the two mags, I will post what I found and pictures tomorrow/ later today

Not on mine. The leading edge of the ejector is near perfectly lined up with the chamber (meaning the cleaning rod would just barely squeeze by untouched) I've put 11k rounds thru my 15-22 with zero FTE. Fed Bulk Pack.
