anyone have this scope and have any luck? went shooting and the guy next to me had one and was shooting .17s in a dime group at 100 yards. Just wonderin if anyone else has this kind of luck

I have one on my 10/22 really like it. thought about putting one on my 15-22 but went with primary arms m3 clone instead.

I had one on a CZ-452 rifle that I used for silhouette competition (traded the rifle and scope for my 15-22) . It's a very nice and capable scope, and I can attest to its ability to shoot dime-sized groups (assuming that the rifle it's on can do it, of course).

Mueller has a very nice lineup of scopes, and I would suggest that you look at all of their rimfire scopes before you select one.

On the 15-22 i like the primary arms m3. On my 10/22 target with bull barrel and bipod i like the apv. The m3 is just lighter and feels better on the 15-22 plus im not shooting long distance with the 15-22 maybe 75yrds or less

no just looking at options, trying to save enough money to buy the vortex but just in case i dont have it in time ill have back up options

I love my Mueller APV scope. I have had it on everything from a Bushmaster AR-15 to a Encore .308

Its now sitting on my Sako Quad rifle with the 17mach2 barrel and it does great. I too shoot sub MOA groups at 100 yards with that setup. The scope keeps its zero very well... I have dropped it while hunting shot some squirrels and then later used it for target shooting a few days later and the scope is still dead on.

for $115 you just cant do much better.

Best bang for the buck by far.I own four of them.Had two more,but sold the guns they were on.Three of mine are on 22's the other is on a 223 single shot.They wont take large recoils,but still the clearest and hold zero great for the low dollar they cost.Adjustments work as they should too.They will shoot the box with repeatability.If you want more power go with the 8-24 Mueller.Slow

i don't know much about mueller but i can tell you that vortex makes the best scopes at every price point below $300. the diamondback, and the clearanced $250 (retail $400) viper are the best ways to go right now. The diamondback wins best sub $200 scope, and the Viper compares directly with the $500+ Burris Elite 4200, and Sightron Big Sky 2.
If you want even cheaper, at the $100 pricepoint this one beats out all of the chinese junk out there. http://swfa.com/Vortex-6-24x50-Crossfire-Rifle-Scope-P43585.aspx But i still wouldn't recommend any sub $100 scope. Go with the diamondback or Viper and you will get a heck of a lot of scope for your money. I went and found a diamondback to look through and it was extremely nice. Without even seeing the Viper, i've already placed my order knowing it was another step above the diamondback i can only imagine.

also take a look at the APT from mueller if you prefer a scope with a mil-dot reticle and the "tactical" style target turrets... it's on my short list for the .22 bolt gun i have coming for long(er) distance shooting.

A few of the guys at my clubs .22BR matches use them and rave about them. The ones I have looked through had good clarity and very nice fine crosshairs. I would not hesitate to put one on my .22 rifle.

I know I've already commented that the APV is a good scope, but I also have to agree that if you're looking at the APV, get the APT instead. Target turrets are much preferred to the ones that come on the APV.
