Museum Guns

We got invited to a gala fundraiser for the Oklahoma Opry at the Oklahoma Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. There were lots of nice guns there, but I didn’t get to see much since we didn’t have any extra time but I did post a couple pics. it was a great dinner with great music and the little girl ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, who won America’s Got Talent performed, and she really does have some talent! She sang country and western, Italian opera, rock ‘n’ roll, yodeling, and even some comedy. She wrote and sang a rock ‘n’ roll song that sounded like it could be a top 40 hit! In the photo Jana and me are on the sides and Darci and my friend Kevin are in the middle. Darci is just a senior in high school but she performed with the confidence and showmanship of a veteran entertainer.

I went there once, but it was around 15-20 years ago. There were some guns on display, but I remember nothing about them.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve lived in OKC area for about 40 years off and on and live here now. I’ve only recently visited the Museum for a Real Estate function. I really want to go again and take some time to really appreciate it.

Definitely worth a stop when in OKC. I visited there a couple of years ago.
