Music You Enjoy

First let me give you a little background about this video.
Little town Pomeroy, IA of about 600 people, had a little bar called Byrons that often had live music. The building was falling down, the town condemned it. The music community raised over $100,000 to purchase the community building so the music and Byrons could live on. The story even made the front page of the Wall Street Journal.
I made my first trip there this past Sunday to heard this group.
Iowa based Folk/Americana, The Weary Ramblers. They write nearly all of their own music.
A friend of mine records all the shows and uploads many of them to YouTube. Don't mind the chatter at the beginning, it is all part of the experience.

When I carry my Model 36

I think about Jerry Ohrbach. The wife and I watch Law and Order reruns frequently and although I knew Ohrbach got his start in musicals I did not realize he was so good.

Many of you may know already but he also sang "Try to Remember" to begin the "Fantasticks."
