Holy smokes does that bring back memories! I met these ladies at a rock and roll revival at the City Line Holiday Inn in Philadelphia. It took place in a ballroom there back before the end of 1984 when I left the Philadelphia area. The MC was Hy Lit, an old time Philadelphia DJ, and unfortunately the only performers I remember now are the Angels and Bobby Lewis ("Tossin' and Turnin'). And the really cool thing was when the performers weren't on stage they were walking around the ballroom and I got to meet and talk to the Angels and Bobby Lewis for a little while. That was a great time.
