How much does a bobbed hammer bop the value? Light holster wear, no box or docs.

Thanks
Frank

The Goodyears and hacksawed hammer kind of kill the value, just saying. Now with correct stocks and hammer, 400 to 450

First question was it converted to double action only???????

DOA is not a problem for some in a duty/carry gun but a deal breaker to others........

Value plus or minus $300 IMO, in this market.

I would just go into my "box o parts" and get out a nice hammer and replace it. Then into my "box o grips" for the correct grips. It's just a K Frame, so needed parts are everywhere. When done, it would be a $400 gun.

I agree with the above value, $300 OTD is right.

The bobbed hammer reduces the value about the cost of a new hammer and install. Generally a 38 has less value then a 357. $300 - $400 gun. They have made a zillion of these but one in nice condition still gives a good return.

I'd like to see a pic of the bobbed part of the hammer. If it's factory, doesn't affect value all that much cause it's easily replaced, as are the grips. I think it's worth a little more than others are giving it credit.
