My 1st Gun

My first gun was a Remington 552 BDL .22. I got it for Christmas when I was 13. I still have it but it was damaged in a house fire. My dad's first was a Winchester 67. He bought it new in 1938 for $5.65.

My first was a Remington rolling block 22lr. My first center fire rifle was a carcano model 38 in 6.5 which a friend gave it to me in 1975 on my 10th birthday. I never could get my mom to buy me ammo for it. I never got to shoot it sadly. I bet my mom regretted that as I learned about military rifles from it. and have stocked up on them ever since. I now have 4 carcanos and reload for them. I also have about 100 other mil surps and love them all.

My first was a Remington model 582, bolt action 22, with a K-Mart scope. Christmas 1966.

I have my grandfather's Winchester model 67. It is not as nice as yours but the most valued rifle I own.
