I had a 4" Model 25-5 that I purchased new in 1978. Serial number was N679XXX. It shipped with the 3T's. Not to be a "Debbie Downer" but it also had the largest chamber throats that I have read about in the whole "oversize throat" scenario. .458" - .460" - it patterned like a shotgun, plus it keyholed.
Why not keep it and just find a nice dash-2? I wouldn't mind having a dash-2 to go with my dash-5, …
Mine is a Model 25-2 but when I bought it it came with a 45 Colt cylinder too. I have not put the 45 ACP cylinder in in maybe 15 years. I like the 45 Colt cylinder a lot better.
