This is my first attempt to post pictures on this forum, and I figured what better way to start than some pics of my 586.
I bought it via an auction. When I got it, it had the HP sight blade and some ugly wear on the grips. I had a red ramp installed and put some new grips on.

She's not the prettiest 586 I've ever seen, but she's mine and I love her.

Seriously? I do not think there is one 586 that is ugly. THAT is a beautiful gun! I have one too!!

James

There are a few "beauty marks" on it, but overall, it's not bad looking. I just meant I've seen 'em with less wear and fewer dings, lol.
It does scrub up nice though.

Congratulations on the purchase as they are b great revolvers

Very nice. You'll really enjoy shooting.

I just scored a NIB no dash 6" a couple weeks ago. I also have a 586-3 that I bought about 20 years ago that is my shooter.

Congratulations. Nice gun. I have been collecting no-dash L frames for a while now, and one of the few I would still like to find is just like yours: An early 586 (with the logo on the right side) and with the patridge front sight blade. I don't think there were very many manufactured and I really like that version. Hope it shoots well for you!
