I have a pair of 625's (625-6 Model of 1989 with 5" barrel and a 625-8 JM Special with a 4" barrel). They are my most favorite revolvers.

The O.P. will LOVE that revolver!

The 625-4 is arguably the best 625 model. No lock, no MIM, and the teething problems on a few -2's and -3's have been worked out. If those things don't matter to you (and they don't to a lot of people), almost any 625 is an excellent revolver for defense, competition, or sport. Enjoy yours.
