My appologies, the 40C is gone.

I must apologize to all to touted the 40C. It is a fine firearm, but for me, it just didn't take. It shot well, carried well, never had a single issue, but just didn't endear itself to me. I guess that happens sometimes. :o I actually liked my Shield better, and may get another in the future. For now, my Beretta PX4 .40 will have to be my go to .40. Thanks to all who pushed me. You never know what will work unless you give it a try.

Gunny, It just wasn't the right fit for you; and that does happen sometimes-to everyone. Something else will come along, I'm sure :-)

Sorry it didn't work for you. There's no perfect gun for every purpose and for everyone. I'm personally not a big fan of the compacts simply because (for me) the Shield carries much easier, and if it's not for concealed carry I'd rather have a full size pistol.

Sorry to hear Gunny - I think for a lot of folks the Shield is the better option. I had one but just decided I prefer the compact, I like that it's a tad thicker, to be honest - which is opposite of what most would prefer lol.

So, in true hoing fashion, got any 40c accessories left over you want to get rid of :) haha

Best of luck. For me my new m&p 40c. Is a great fit. This July. I got a new Springfield. Xds 45 c and a 40 c . I like the springfield. But really click well with the 40c.

Sorry, Staff, everything went with it, except the holsters. Those were for the Glock 30 as well. :(

I do have a Beretta PX4 Storm in .40 though. You should try one of those sometime. Shoots the .40, feels like 9mm, accurate as my Sig P229.

Nothing wrong at all for not caring for a particular caliber.

I bought a couple of .40 cals over the years but they ended up sold
and back to the 9mm and .45acp I went. I have not a single
complaint about .40 cal it was just not to my liking.

I learned long ago the most useful firearm is one you are comfortable
shooting as chances are good you will shoot it more often and if the need arises you will be hitting the target that may be shooting back at you.

None of the compact M&Ps or Glocks...

...are big enough for my medium-size hands...except for my 45c which uses full-size 10-shot mags with X-grips.com gapfillers.

This one I really like.

I loved everything about my PX4 except for the capacity because I bought one in .45. I sold it for my M&P9C and I haven't regretted it for a second.
