Could be worse...

We have a cat that must be fed at 4:30 each morning- no need to set an alarm...she makes certain the wife gets up.

I wake up anyway. I used to sleep in an extra thirty minutes, but no more.

One of these days...that cat will be making beautiful music...on a violin. :D

Dog knows it's hungry, dog wants to eat. Dog doesn't attempt to conform his behavior to what someone else arbitrarily thinks it should be without any valid justification. I wish people were stupid like that.

My dog went around to every clock in the house and just sat there looking at it til we changed it back an hour....;)

Our cat Ranger is the same. Every year when dst ends he wants his treat early. He is crazy smart in other ways too.
He is the black and white one in my pic.

Some things are pretty hard without opposable thumbs...;)

My two furbags have been driving me nuts all week. Now they are getting me up a 6AM to go out, then trying again at 7AM when I normally eat breakfast because they want a second "I was good all night" treat.

If they had opposable thumbs they would be getting their meals out of the people food cupboards. Scary.

My Mexican beagle, Pepe, did not need opposable thumbs to figure out how to open the refrigerator. Had he lived, he would have been one fat Mexican beagle.
