Getting my Shorty 40 started an interested in .40 caliber. I never had any reason to have, shoot or collect .40 cal pistols.

That changed with the Shorty. I accidentally saw a complete CS40 top end for sale that was in very good shape. I kinda seemed to remember a “dream” post by JohnHL about his CS’s so I contacted him. He confirmed what I thought so thanks to him I bought it.

It’s pretty cool and I think I like it. I had a few “extra” Pre-Rail 4513TSW mag bases so I put one on the only mag the CS40 top end came with.

I know some of you will say blow it out to 10mm. :D

Okay, took me a second and a little bit of zooming.

Gotta say, just by reading the words alone, I was under the impression that you had slid a CS-40 top half on to a PC Shorty40 frame. I’d be scared to do that.
