I got in touch with the gunsmith who was evaluating my very inexpensive Terva Argentine revolver for repair...surprised that he said it was actually a well made .22 and the only thing wrong was a broken spring, which he will get to shortly. Cheap repair...I had no idea that it was considered decent since it broke so quickly...but he is the expert. Considering I got it over 20 years ago from Century Arms (legally, through my FFL dealer in Livermore, CA) don't even remember what I paid for it, something around $135, but I won't bad-mouth it again unless it does something else "stupid". Does have nice grips.

I don't think I have ever heard of a Terva, and just because it is Argentine does not mean that it must be low-quality. Pix would be nice.

I posted in the lounge that I can't figure out how to do that (post pictures).

Got it back on Saturday...

Was a bit tight, tried to eject the cylinder and took extra effort...shop owner gave it a good spraying of Remington oil...I let it sit over night...and the darn thing still won't rotate cylinder in DA in two locations...back to the shop today, and if it doesn't work after that...the scrapyard. Paid $50 for a job that was inadequate, to say the least. Won't consider a "sometimes works" gun in my inventory. :D

Terva fixed, mainspring replacement too long...

Got it back today....gunsmith made the replacement spring 1/4 inch too long, indexes fine now...here a pic of what it looks like...stock photo..kind of small.
