Went to a gun show this weekend with low expectations. Saw a few interesting guns, visited w friends. Ended up bringing this 4th change M&P home. Serial # puts it at 1925 or so. Condition was acceptable to my eye, the action is right, and the price was good. My second 5 screw, first pre-war.

You have high standards
Thank you. Many years ago while looking at a less than desirable condition but otherwise a gun on my want list, a good friend said about the condition, "It's never going to get any better" I've taken that to heart and have passed and waited for better examples to come along many times. Paying more or being patient for a higher grade has always worked out in the long run and caused no regrets.
