I bought a Sig 938 two tone bronze recently.
I was fortunate to also get a Lobo offset IWB from here at the same time.
I was hesitant about the price, but went ahead, thinking I could sell it for what I paid if I didn't like it.
Well, I like it. It has an excellent trigger, shoots excellent groups to point of aim at 10 yds. and the Lobo holster is perfect for it.
I did have to park the gun in a baggie in the holster for a day, but that did the trick.
I can't vouch for other Sigs, but this one works for me.
I know it will work into an everyday carry pistol.

I've been shooting for quite a few years now, and shot my first SIG last week. A 226 in 9mm. They always looked to chunky for me, but it was surprisingly comfortable, and I really liked the DA/SA trigger- maybe better than my TDA 3rd Gens (perish the thought.
It felt like a quality pistol. There's just too dang many to go down that road! If I were looking to get into TDA carry, It would be between a SIG and a CZ.

Yeah, me too. I like the single stack for a back up or hide out gun. It works well.

Accurate little buggers for a micro. I honestly believe that 938 could outshoot many of the guns in my safe. Just something about it that agrees with me.

Too bad you didn't get the Sig Nite sights. ( still can't believe all models don't come with them) They have an excellent sight picture with an easy to see front dot. I know it would cost money but they might be a worthwhile upgrade.

Glad you like it.

KLYDE, I wish it did also. When I bought it I did not know the different configurations that they came in. Kind of confusing.
The price was ok for the gun though, so I'm happy with it.
To change gears, what is the size comparison to the P6?
Appears to be a tad larger, and I would think a little higher capacity?
I get a full grip with the 938, so it's enough for me.

I picked up my first (and only) Sig on New Year's Day this year. It's an Ultra Carry 1911 in two-tone with checkered front strap and night sights. Regular retail would have been about $1150. It was new, on clearance, and they were having a one-day 15% off sale. I took it home for $680. I've had quite a few 1911s and it's the nicest, best-shooting one I've ever had. That includes my SA Range Officer that was my favorite before the Sig showed up.

I also bought a Sig MCX air rifle a few weeks later and love it as well.

The reason I love my beloved Sig-Sauer P-6 is that the grip is thin with a "single stack"magazine.

Plus one on that. My old West German P6 is an amazing pistol. I gave up on my P239 because of it.

I am not one for external safeties on carry guns, but I REALLY want a Sig P320 Compact 9mm with night sites!

I am glad the 938 suits you well.

I have the P238 Spartan version. Full stainless with a bronze finish. It's my favorite pocket carry pistol.

Though I wanted to love Sig's miniature 1911s, the quality has been concerning to me. I have a P238 and the magazine has been dropping out by itself, and I've made sure I am not hitting the mag release. I only noticed it on the extended mag so far. I installed a Wolff 1911 mag release spring (had to shorten it a bit), as well as using a nail file to shorten the plastic along the magazine's baseplate. Without the sanding, the plastic was making contact with the frame much sooner than the mag would click into place, so you had to smack it very forcefully. I haven't yet tested the attempted fixes, but if those don't take care of it I'll send it to Sig. I also bought a Metalform extended magazine I can try if the Sig branded one still drops.

My girlfriend bought a brand new P938 that had its own alarming issue: Somehow the slide stop lever loosened itself enough to result in the slide actually coming off after unholstering. I've also seen all the reports of the guide rod separating due to its two piece design on the P938, but she hasn't had that issue and I hope it stays that way.

I've got its baby brother the P238 HD for my pocket pistol .. tried a few other 38's and the Sig beat all of them .. very easy and accurate point to shoot .. add +P ammo makes a good small carry ..

Also have one of its big brothers .. a Sig Legion P229 in 40 .. great shooting pistol ..

once you shoot one you will soon be looking at another one ..

I've always been curious about them, but also never shot one until I recently picked up a worn P226 (which btw, is cleaning up nicely).

There's a lot of hype to the brand, but so far I find mine to be an excellent gun. Nice balance, nice trigger. It does put rds on target.

I can't say it's BETTER than other quality brands like my CZ, Beretta or 3rd Gen S&W, but it certainly is good, and if you find the configuration you like, you should be happy with it

The only Sig that I had, I did not like was a 2022 DAO. Did not keep it long. Got a P239 in the fall. Had Tru-Glo TFO sights put on it. Really like the way it shoots. (9mm). Then of course is my Sig 1911. My son really wants it! Too bad! Bob

All of us S&W fans can do well with a SIGnificant other
I own and really like the Sig P938, even with my pretty large, meaty hands it is very easy to shoot. I traded in my .380 P238 for the 938.

I've owned a P6 9mm (never should have sold it!!) and a P220 in 45 ACP, both were accurate and 100% reliable. They went goodbye along with every other double action pistol in my collection because I just don't like the DA to SA transition triggers.
