USPS left this on my porch!

Shipped in Oct 1946, original magnas are nice. Not a beauty queen but will fit right in with the not so pretty model of 1950 and the outdoorsman gang.

Interesting combo of pre and post war internals.

That is outstanding, what a sweet HD.
Hey, and my birth year to boot. Put me in your will for that will you. 😎😁

Very clean example. I've been looking at one of those locally that is 99% complete with box for $1900. Is that good deal?

Wow, that looks truly righteous. Thank you for sharing.

And, if you have any further details to entice our admiration, we shall surely appreciate that, as well.

Congratulations on your score!
That's one I have yet to find and, in that fine condition, I would've been all over it.
It looks like it's been holstered; I bet it could tell a story or two. :)

Here are this gun and a model of 1950 from 1954 side by side so you can see the internal differences. The model of 1950 also has a flat screw under the grip so no need to drill the grip for the domed screw.

The picture of Elvis was with the listing, but is not attributed to this gun, I wish! :D

Nice gun! Of all the postwar/transitional revolvers, the vast majority I've seen are .38 M & Ps but HDs are fairly common too.
