My first reaction when I saw the picture was, WOW! That is a nice gun. Yes it has been refinished, but it looks like whoever did it knew how to plate nickel. It might have been nickel originally given the lack of a B on the frame. None the less, I have not seen a half decent triple lock under $1000 and if I were in the market, would readily pay $1200 to own that one. I paid a little over $1000 for this one over 6 years ago.
There are some guys here who are only interested in absolutely original guns for their collections. They often quote low figures guns that are not original, or are less than perfect. Those of us who like our guns with a life story, are less discerning, and have the opportunity to own models that, if perfect and original, might be out of our comfort zone, pricewise....
