MY GARDEN IS PROTECTED !

drifter does pin them down from time to time, but they are now 90% of her size.
i'm not super worried. pampered house cats won't be a match for feral drifter.
right now, they have to come in to eat.
drifter doesn't.
she eats 3 times/day, but kibble only once every 2 days.
she prefers mice.
drifter is still drifter.

bill, i need to know everything about how you tamed them. i assumed it was impossible to tame an adult.

My parents have always fed the feral cat population around their house. They're great natural pest replant and adorable to look at. That being said, just time and feeding it will be the main ways to get it more used to you. Try to let it see you giving it food as well if possible so it will make that connection.

oh, that little bit**!
today was the first day that she got friskies instead of people food.
she drank her milk n left the friskies!
oh, i'm angry.
all cats like friskies.
this animal is so thin you wouldn't believe it n she turns up her nose at friskies!
grrr.

I had a friend, and he would squirt milk into his cats' mouths when he milked his goats.
He said he fed them too much, and they wouldn't mouse! Don't make the same mistake with your Jedi Cat!

drifter mostly finds her own food. the kits come in the house to eat. drifter comes in to see me n eats while she's here.i guess she stays out more because kits are out, but she won't neglect hunger.
i asked her in, 2 days after she last had kibble.
she declined.
her tummy was full.
mice are yummy.
my little killer fed herself for most of her life n has forgotten nothing.

I don't do anything to hurt my cats I try to understand them more. I know it's hard to restrain when one bites me but he wants to be left alone. Now when I brought the last four kittens in the house the feral got jealous. I read this right away and they stayed outside more, you need to show them all equal attention. Like kids. I have one that's a bully but I'm working on that. The other one I thought was a bully but he wants to play with the feral older cats. The feral body slams the younger kitten. He thinks it's fun I laugh.

Kittens do get frisky they think everything is a toy even momma and the big cats. If it moves they attack it. They like my computer screen and the wife's keyboard. Sometimes I hear one scream at night. There playing.
Once the kittens get older they settle down and don't play as rough. In a few years.lol

Have you tried squinting your eyes and nod your head up or down slowly.?
The cats should squint back and accept you into their family. It may take a while. Some cats respond to them and they may respond back. Keep on trying to comunicate to them. Now females are different some will respond while others won't.
Also blink very slowly repeatedly. Jackson Galaxy from"cat from hell" says this is a very friendly gesture that cats understand universally because they do it to each other. Thanks Grip_ Makers_ Wife, I didn't see you had just written the same thing above me (I was reading the last posts first)

squinting seems kinda dumb, but if you guys use it, i can try.
thing is, natayo already thinks of me as family.
he just doesn't treat family very well.
perhaps screaming at him n hitting him with a shoe has helped.
he is lucky i didn't have anything heavier that a shoe to whack him with.
i worry he will attack drifter.
if that happens it's over.
He won't attack drifter... However it's not unheard of for a kit who matures without getting neutered can mate with the mom. She might not permit it but some do

bill, you say you get bit, but you don't say you are deeply cut n bleeding.
that is not the same as nips for communication.

Not deeply cut but enough for blood to flow, one latches on to me like a tic with all four paws with nails dug in then it bites me. In the dark I'm not sure who's on the bed but I know it's "Spot" now he's the biggest of the ferals and doesn't like his tummy rubbed. They switch laying down with me at night. The others like tummy rubs but Spot doesn't. He's call Spot because he's all black with one silver dollar white spot on his chest.

Remember the crazy cat and mouse Ignaz cartoon. Where ignaz the mouse hit crazy cat I think is was with a brick and she sighed oh ignaz? Remember?

bill, are you bleeding from scratches?
different thing.

by the way, the real natayo, who i call dirty nose for her 2 tone black n pink nose, is not the offender. she is one of my 2 most loving cats.
she is safe.
the biter is natayo 2, her twin but for nose.

Big Bill... Can I send you a flashlight so you can spare your arms all those bites and claws?... Then you can see who's next to you before you bleed(lol)

I know who's doing it now. I have claw marks that bleed. I find little pencil point marks that are scabs on my arms. I don't trim the feral cats claws because there outside and inside cats. He doesn't scratch he just digs in his claws.
