MY GARDEN IS PROTECTED !

What kind of friskies do they like? So many varieties! I'm going out this week to Petco.. To get a hummingbird feeder. I could send you some meanwhile till you get a supply. I'm still having trouble with pm even though I deleted all my stored PM's. You can email me ([email protected]) send your types needed and your address and I can send a box/bag when I find it. Linda

thanks, red.
i managed to find some 5 lb bags.
more expensive but i'm ok for a while.

it's prime mouse season anyway.
in winter, these kits are totally dependent on kibble,
but not in spring.

i'm not worried about them running off either.
this is their home n they don't live here just for food.

you know, i feel bad for people that have indoor only cats.
for me, it's important to know that my kits could leave any time they want to.
of course, it's easy for me.
i'm 3 miles from pavement.
i drive to the mailbox weekly n there's ups n fedex.
that's all the traffic n my kits are afraid of cars
.that's better than dogs i've had.
they weren't afraid of cars n one died because of that,

I've always only had inside cats because of traffic when I lived in the city. Because of coyotes raccoon and bear where I am now.
Below are the Noise Boys. Logan is on the left and Jackson is on the right. Chipmunk season has begun! Logan and Jackson.jpg

We've been on Chewy "autoship" for our two kitties for some time, and we just received a notice that they were shipping only half my order because the other flavor cases we ordered were out of stock. Adding insult to injury, even that partial shipment will be about ten days late.
Seems to me they'd allocate stock for longtime regular order customers, but I guess not.
Judging from cat food stock levels in stores and the Chewy situation, you'd also think every female cat in the country just had a litter in the past month.
That or people are stocking up for themselves on whatever canned meats they can find .

kibble is gone too.
you'd have to be pretty tough to eat kibble if you're not a cat.

i had to get poultry flavor for mine.
i hope they eat it.
they've always had seafood.

i have no choice but to get at food.
my kits are not at all interested in human food.
that's kinda nice because i can leave my dinner out on the counter all day, but i have no substitute for friskies.

Maybe put a bit of tuna(or any other fish) juices on their chicken kibble. Sardine juice would work too. I went to Ocean State Job Lot store and they had a ton of sardines. They ship everywhere too. It's like an off brand store and the prices are great. I'll see if I can send you the site. They may even have friskies! Ttyl---Linda

@susieqz Just contacted the ocean State site and they don't ship. However if you want, I can look when I go to supermarket for friskies seafood kibble. Is that the right one? If I find some, I can buy a bag and get it to you. Let me know (I would need your full name and address.) I will probably go out tomorrow to check--we can swap for figs!

Just looked at Amazon.. No friskies in stock [emoji3525] But I'll look in supermarket tomorrow. Strange that they're only out of friskies. I guess the toilet paper people have a lot of cats too!

i just don't know what's wrong with people.
toilet paper?
they are not reporting diarhea with the virus.
pasta, flour, cat food?
do they really think that they will be locked down for 6 months?
even if that was a good idea our slimy politians don't have the nerve.
i'm mostly just irritated.
due to living off pavement, i'm always stocked up.
but there have to be people that are hurt worse by lack of supplies.

my kits n i are fine for a few months.
it feels weird not to bake bread, but i have corn tortillas
which are fine for sandwiches.

i hope you guys are comfy too.

Around here with the lock down, I suspect a lot of people who are stuck at home are baking more. The TP? Weird, although I suspect it relates to a fear of being more assertively locked down and not being able to get out and get more. It does not spoiled until used, and like some other things, is priceless if you don't have it when you need it.

i don't know how they could lock us down more assertively.
if they forbid trips to the grocery, everyone will ignore that,

anyone needing to go to the druggist needs to switch to mail order.
i just got my 90 day supply without exposing myself to a human.

All my kids who couldn't get toilet paper are now shopping at the house of Mom. And they have keys! Lol Hope everyone is getting what they actually need if not what they want. Be well out there [emoji175][emoji175][emoji445][emoji444]

the brits are reporting a rise in anxiety n depression from the lock down.
this would be a great time to try gardening as a fun new hobby.
even if it's cold, stuff like chard, spinach n ven lettuce will laugh at a blizzard.

I'm thinking of what to plant here to attract hummingbirds and butterflies and bees. My hummingbird feeder is coming in a couple of days and I'll have lots of time waiting around looking for them to come. Gotta get more white sugar to make food for the hummingbirds. What pollinates your figs? Are you ok with cat food?. I'm going to be in a different area Friday and I can look for friskies.. None in my town. Not sure why not [emoji40][emoji40] stay well! Great time to be in a sparsely populated area.

we are fine for friskies, for maybe 2 months.
all i'm missing is king arthur flour, but we can make do.
my honeysuckle vine is an absolute hummingbird magnet.
i won't put up a feeder til i see them swarming around mine.
my ornamental bushes draw bees n butterflies but i don't remember what they are called right this minute but i'll find out.
i'm ordering sugar for the hums today.

common figs require no pollination.
oddly enow, what we eat are actually inverted flowers.

Glad you have enough kitty food. I can check on the flour. King Arthur- what type. In case you get desperate! Save some figs for me when the season comes. Be safe [emoji40][emoji40]

for breads, i use all purpose, but i can make do with bread flour, which i mainly use for pizza, but can use for bread.
if you see it, please get some for yourself.
the taste difference is amazing.
i tried to find a different flour n tested 6 brands.
every one of them went on the garden as ferilizer.

i see they say my last cat food order will be delayed, but i still hope to get it.

my problem is i can't find anyone who knows how long the shortages will last.
i still don't understand this stuff.
this country can absolutely provide everyone with all the cat food flour n tp our population needs;
is dog food ok?
