I recently picked up a Garrett Industries IWB kydex, leather lined, single clip, adjustable cant, Silent Thunder holster. I must say the quality of the Garrett is awesome! Very nice piece. Draw is silent and the retention out the box was perfect. The retention and the cant is adjustable. I will admit this is my first Kydex holster and it was quite uncomfortable at first. I had a hard time getting use to the kydex against skin. After a few days of wearing I can't even tell it's on. I wanted a single clip easy on easy off holster and I'm very happy with it. I could wear this all day everyday. It conceals very well.

The first holster I got was a RKBA leather IWB dual clip. The quality of the leather is VERY nice and stiff. The holster holds the Shield perfect after it slept in it for a night and has kept its retention perfectly for several months now. This holster is my "wake up in the morning holster up and don't take off until bed holster". It is VERY comfortable and conceals better than the single clip Garrett holster.

I would highly recommend both of these holsters. They both serve their own purpose for me. Also Garretts customer service was awesome. Two weeks total from date of purchase until I got the holster-very fast. RKBA was almost 7 weeks-communication was very good, but the guy was just busy. It was worth the wait.

You are one of very few people who I have seen any sort of review on the RKBA. After using it for a few months how do you like it? HAve you used any hybrid IWB made with kydex? And if so how does it compare? Im looking at getting a Hidden Hybrid Holster (because it can double as an OWB as well) but like the RKBA.
