Nice pistolas. It looks like your j family is about right for the family- wife, kids, their spouses.
As my boys got older, I've been supplying them and their spouses with pistols and training. One of my DIL's is a natural.
Can't have too many and I don't want anything to happen because they weren't armed.

Honestly right now, probably my K6 (not shown). Something about that extra round in a J size package. Although I’m thinking about getting a laser grip for the 340PD to make a weak hand back-up.

If a shooter will take the necessary time to learn to shoot well with a snubnose J-frame, he'll be able to shoot just about any handgun well, perhaps expertly.

That's what I've been working on. Especially after watching Paul Harrell's videos. He definitely can shoot a J frame. As a gun guy, I decided it was time to learn to shoot these little guns well (or well enough).

I don't know Paul Harrell and am not a follower of anything gun-related on YouTube, but... while these guns are quite accurate, they are very unforgiving of poor shooting skills. People complain of heavy trigger pulls and recoil, both of which a shooter can adapt to with practice, usually lots of practice. Learn to shoot these guns straight-out-of-the-box for best results. I've had many of these guns, some new, some used over the last fifty+ years. I've never had springs tampered with and all guns have been 100% reliable with all factory ammunition and handloads with any primer.


A definite plus with mastering these guns is that once skills are learned, the skills will carry over when using all other handguns as well. You'll shoot them better. Spend money on ammo, not gimmicks.
