you guys have inspired to to build my collection so i thought as thanks far all the great information and advise i would post a picture. also made me realize how impressive some of the photography is on this site. i guess direct sunlight in south florida isnt the best for shiny guns.
the 66-5 i bought new in 2001. all the rest i have bought over the last year and a half. model 19-3 4 inch, model 13-3 3 inch, model 66-5 2.5 inch and model 19-5 2.5 inch. can't put my finger on it but something seems to be missing.

your right thanks. i guess i was thinking about the one thats missing. once i find it i guess my collection will be complete and i'll have to find another hobby:rolleyes:.

Nice collection... but odd numbers beg to be evened out.

You need a nice M-15 Combat Masterpiece, blue, 4" barrel.

An enviable collection, Sailfish 40,

You just think you can walk away from the addiction.... Wait until the next K frame pops up in front of you with a different barrel length, finish or desirable features you don't have yet...

You'll be salivating and twitching just like the rest of us sorry gun junkies....:D

Nice guns and yes, never say I'll be done with just one more your only kidding your self....lol...welcome to the nut house

Nice collection of K's. There will always be "something" missing even if you have 100 of them!

Do you have a collection of J's or anything else? Or are you mostly a
'K' person?

I too prefer the K's.

K's are all i have for now. i'm not really interested in the j frame, yet. i would eventually love to have a model 27 or 28. i also really like the 581/586, 681/686. have to find that last k frame for my collection first though.

Looks mighty fine Sailfish, now just keep adding to the collection.

Looks like you need a model 10 4" heavy barrel. Then maybe a K38?. How's that for suggestions on filling a hole or holes in your collection?.
Forgot one, Model 15 combat Masterpiece as one other member suggested. And I'm sure others will chime in and have other suggestions
Great spending someone else's money. Frank

Maybe a rimfire K-frame to round it out????
Nice group of guns there my friend. Wait until
you start jonesing for the N-frames.

Very nice collection! I am yet to get a K frame - still working on the J, N, and L!

Here's what's missing. Anybody care to guess what it is? I love 'em all, but this one's my favorite:

M547Texas-1.jpg

The famed and little seen 547. I expect to have one of those someday, but I just haven't yet crossed paths with the right one.

Sailfish40, you might want to look for an original 50s-era five-screw Combat Masterpiece, the direct ancestor of the models in your current collection. And maybe you would want a two-inch Model 15-3; an adjustable sight snubnose barely makes any sense, but they have a huge cool factor (as your 2.5" and 3" guns attest).

I agree with others. One more won't do it. You can buy K-frames at a steady rate for the next few years before you start to get close to a good specimen collection. :D

Wow! I didn't realize i need so many more. All i thought it would take to complete my collection was a 3 inch model 65. No one even mentioned that. Seriously, thanks for all the replies.:)

I would say wood grips on the Model 66 and a SS counterpart for the Model 13 would balance them out nicely.

There are so many K frames you'll never run out of models PR variations to pursue. I collect K frame snubbies and am nowhere near complete!
