My Life is Unmanageable

After many, many decades of not seeing used n frames and colts in magnum calibers when they do turn up you better jump on them. The old time hoarders are letting them go plus some are into what ever the gun rags are reviewing and raving about the new plastic guns.

My retirement is ok plenty of income, I planned when I was 35 yo. I'm 70 yo now. I saved not with the lizard but invested in solid, save returns, life was good. I never been on a real vacation nor a fly hunting or fishing trip my plans were shattered when the cancer hit. I'm ok still here to spoil the grand kid.

Truth right there.

I was thrilled to get my 25-2 the other day.

I get the American Rifleman because of my membership, but all the new stuff leaves me cold.

I like when they publish a story about the weapons used by our Armed Forces in various wars, and "I Have This Old Gun" on the last page is usually interesting.

The latest super duper caliber, plastic pistol, or synthetic stocked rifle leaves me cold.

My online honey hole had five s&w n frames in 357 mg, three m28's two m27's, a few decades ago.

I hate plastic stocks on rifles.

If your not shooting surplus military guns your missing out on fun.

Hi Bill!
Here in Virginia we now have a one handgun a month law. I suffered through this years ago until the law was eliminated, but now it is back. My bank account will soon start to suffer, yet again, as I will try to be a law abiding citizen and buy one handgun every month. :D

Have you figured out whether the new law has the same "loophole" to allow CCW holders to buy more than one?

It came in handy the last time they railroaded this hare-brained scheme through Richmond.

For over 20 years, I did not buy a handgun. Then I bought 25 in less that 2 years, along with 6 rifles

But, don't let the long hiatus fool you. I was into the world of trapshooting, which includes Krieghoff K80's, Perazzi's and Ljutics. Now that is like going from marijuana right to the needle relative to cost! I have spare trigger groups that cost as much as a 3 1/2" Model 27, maybe more now. Never know when you might break a spring or a hammer during a competition:)

Groo here
Yes, when aflicked with the "bug" it rarely stops till the safe is full and your billfold is empty...
Good luck,,, take 2 J-frames and call us in a week.....
