Well, while sitting here watching the snow fall I have finally gotten most of the stuff updated on my M&P-10... now to wait to get out and see how it really shoots. Or maybe I should go for an all white version as it looks like winter may be here to stay.
What I have done to it so far:
The MOE Handguard was a VERY tight fit and as others have noted, and did require some adjustment of the heat shield on the back end.
Removing the pin in the compliant stock was not too bad, but i want to fill the two holes i made to get it out to hide them a bit. It would have been easier to drill in from the opposite side just enough to get through the aluminum on the tube. the pin they put in actually made a dimple in the other side and i had to drill that side and tap it out as it was partially blocking the forward stop hole so you couldn't lock in the stock at the shortest position.
What I have done to it so far:
- MOE Handguard with rails on bottom and right side
- NC Star 3-9x42 rubber armored mark III tactical riflescope, also has laser though i wasn't really looking for that. On a 1" riser because I have trouble with low profile scopes.
- Mako Foregrip and Bipod combo
- Magpul CTR carbine stock
- Troy/VTAC wide padded sling
