My Model 10's

I got them all out today for a wipe down and visual check. I figured I would take a family photo. I have a total of seven; two -5, 1 -8, 3 -10 and 1 -11. Three of them are returns from Victoria police department.

Model 10's are among my favorites,I only have 3 but I'm always on the lookout! I miss the days of the police trade in's when they were cheap.

Very nice collection I have 4 of them, 2 are pre M10 a 2", a 4" then I have a 4" -5 and a 5" -5 all with the skinny profile barrels, classic American revolvers

This does not compute. Where, in the picture, are the 10-5 units? A -5 would have the tapered barrel and I don't see one (let alone two) in the picture.

I'll see what I can do...I guess I should leave the 2" barrels out to avoid confusion...

5" 10-5...

Hmmm, that seems to be my only remaining 10-5 other than several 2" guns...I'll have to work on that......Ben

I don't have a family photo, but between pre-Model 10s and Model 10s, I have 10. 2x .38 M&P Model of 1905, 4th Change, 1x Victory Model, 1x .38 M&P post-war, 1x10, 3x10-5, 1x10-6, and 1x10-7 (former RHKP gun)

Thanks. I thought one of them must be the 2".

But even in your closeup I can't see the flare at the breach end of the barrel on the 4" unit. I guess it's there, but I can't see it in either picture. The point I was making was that the 10-5, by definition, has the tapered barrel, not the heavy barrel.

My best M10 is a -6 3" . a return from NZ. Action is the best and I won't sell it....
