Hello,
I have read on these forums about members use of ren wax on their S&W's. Although I was a little skeptical, but more curious if it actually works. Prior, I had never heard of this product, or even knew that you could wax your firearm.
I must say after trying it, I can't believe the difference it makes to the finish. The wax seems to bring a very deep blue sheen to the blue. I'm now a true believer, and will slowly work on my other firearms.
This is my first attempt at waxing/polishing. This sheen on my 29-2 is after one coat. This revolver is a well used and loved "shooter". There are several thousand rounds through it. I wish I had taken a before pic, but if this is the result after 1 coat I'm completely sold on this stuff. For any one else who was a skeptic, this is the result.
