I read this forum more than I post but I got an auto prompt from the forum to post some more. So, here's a pic of my no dash model 60's I picked up so far this year. The bobbed hammer one with the Uncle Mike's boot grips is my daily carry.

Always nice to hear from infrequent posters (like me maybe).

Nice guns, but you must love to have ballast. :)

I am biased no doubt, as my puny little Model 38 has been my companion for many years.

I keep looking for a Model 60 but have not had any luck! I'm envious. These are great guns.

Regards,

John

I couldn't find any locally so I resorted to Gunbroker.com for both of these. Keep looking, a model 60 is worth the effort. Dusty

Model 60 - Great gun for carry

Two nice looking revolvers.

I carry this Model 60 daily. I don't mind the weight and I'm just a little guy.

It's more comfortable to shoot than an airweight - that's why I traded a 642 for it - so I'd feel like practicing with it at the range more often.

:) Welcome to the forum Dusty. Those model 60's look great. I have several "J" frames but no model 60's. Thanks for your picture. Don

smithman 10, if I took my mod 60 and your mod 60 and put them in a bag, shook them up and reached in, I wouldn't be able to tell one from the other without checking the ser. no.s.
