my 360 pd has around 1,000 rounds of factory through it. including a heavy amount of full blown .357. it was all factory, and it is still in one piece. just saying, i never, never shoot reloads from anyone but me. even then i only reload for skeet and sporting clays. i'm just glad you still had all your digits to type your post.
Yes it is according to Hodgdon's own website.
However, Gun Girl still hasn't told us what the specific bullet was.
The MAX for a 125 grain lead bullet is much lower (lower pressure too which is a bit puzzling).
Reloading is a terrible idea! Please let me send you my address for all of your brass though!
I was the one reloading the ammo and I know it wasn't over charged because I checked all the rounds myself on a very nice scale. Reloading is not a bad thing if you do it responsibly it's just as good as factory. It can actually be better. I'm not a beginner gun shooter or reloader. I loaded the ammo and I shot the gun when it blew up. I know exactly what happened to it. METAL FAILURE! It was not over loaded or under loaded. I actually shot the rest of the same loads through a Ruger right after my gun came apart.
It was a 125 gr XTP for those of you asking. I wouldn't be on here warning people about what happened to my gun if I believed it was my fault. I would have accepted my mistake and moved on. I promise all you out there that my ammunition was not the cause.
