My new 3913. Finally got to take her out and shot 40 rounds. Shot awsome! Love this little thing. I believe it might be replacing SW 1911ES. Accurate, lightweight, reliable (at least for these 40 rounds). Shot a can at about 20 yards and was able to hit it several times shooting at a fast rate. All the makings of the perfect carry gun. Only time will tell. I do have a 6906 and for some reason, I like the way the 38913 shoots better.

Congrats.

Looks like a model that still had the flash-chromed hammer/trigger and the earlier "flatter" manual safety & slide stop lever, but with the slide machined for the Novak-style Low-Mount sight. Nice.

Thanks for the info Fastbolt. Did not know that. Now I gotta try and find magazines for it. Only came with one. They are expensive!! Also, gotta get a OWB holster. Already ordered a UBG Holster for IWB carry.

Magazines should not be that hard to find...even here in Montana they show up often. Holsters....many choices there as well, some will use a Sig 239 for the 3900 series guns.

Midway got a shipment in last week and they sent me text alert on my phone....since I still have a dumb phone I had to wait until I got home to order.....less than an hour.....SOLD OUT....so back on the list:D

My UBG IWB holster has been ordered. My Lobo gun leather OWB also ordered. Got some mags!! Was able to locate a few. Picked up 2 used in great condition. They still have four available in case anyone is interested. PM me and I will give you the info.

I had a similar experience, and replaced my 3" 1911 with a 3913. It seems to conceal well, yet is still sizeable enough to get a good grip on. I don't carry autos much these days, but when I do, that's the one I grab.

I love it. Since I now have or will have holsters, I can use the 6906 if I feel I need more capacity.

Congrats on your new 3913 !! :)

I have an identical 3913 that I've carried and used for over 10 years. Excellent cary gun. Accurate, reliable and looks good doing all that.

Friday afternoon I looked at a NIB example, unfired since the factory. $565 OTD. I may have to go back and buy it. Mine was retired last year for sentimental reasons.

As much as I like my 45XX series guns, I miss how flat and easy to conceal/carry all day the 3913 was.

IMO the finest single stack 9mm carry gun made. By anyone. Enjoy yours! Regards 18DAI

I must say 18, I'm a little surprised by this. You walked out on a NIB 3913. Please tell me the reason wasn't because you already have one. Must have been because the gun funds were down after walking out with the NIB 3914. ;)
