I love the Shield platform and really liked the 9mm. Recently I had the chance to trade it for a Shield 45. I like the 9mm, but I love the 45. The stippling is great, the added size of the grip fits my hand even better, and (not trying to start a caliber debate) I feel better knowing I'm carrying the venerable 45acp round. I bought a L.A.G. Tactical holster for it. It's the most comfortable holster I've ever had. I have done a lot of trading around trying to find the perfect ccw for me. I found it in the Shield 45.

Congrats on the new gun. Mine is one of my favorites. It is my carry weapon during cooler weather when I wear an undershirt, otherwise that stippling is too harsh. I am always amazed at how nice it is to shoot while at the range.

Congrats.
I just ordered one yesterday so I figure a week before I pick it up from my FFL.

If all goes well and after a few hundred rounds it will replace my Shield 9mm as my carry gun.

Congrats. I'm definitely a fan of Shields!

I started with the .40 when they were first released. I ended up trading it for something.

I picked up a .45 when it came out but it was just a little bigger than I wanted and didn't see much carry time.

My current Shield is a PC 9mm. My wife may be getting either a PC 9 with night sights or a 2.0 with laser.

No matter your preference, they're all good!

That is the same set-up I use. I have LAG holsters for my F/S 9 and my, or should I say, wifes Shield 9.
