Bought a can of this stuff. Tested it on some bright shinny new common nails. Left out side in the elements, salt spray. The nail sprayed with it has no rust at all. The others are all rust.

Sprayed some semi auto guns with it. Great stuff.

DuPont developed Nylon 66 which became Zytel (polymer) I think they make good stuff.

DuPont? Teflon? Silicone Lubricants

In the winter, I use plain old graphite lube on my shotgun, (pump).
It doesn't get thicker when the temp drops like the LSA I use in the summer. Never used it on any handguns though.
Peace,

This stuff is better than WD 40 for anything that moves, slides, locks etc.

As I mentioned I am trying it in some plastic semi autos on the internal spring. striker etc. Does not accumulate dirt and crud.

OCD1,

Sounds like good stuff. What are they charging for it, and can you get it direct?

Andy

Homer Depot or Lowes or similar type store. I would guess any hardware store would have it also. Less than $5 a spray can.

I use it in my magazines also after cleaning them. A little spritz wipe down the spring and mag body with a clean rag. Prevents rust but will not contaminate your ammo.
