Took my "new to me" 4" model 13 to the range yesterday. All I can say is "Wow!". :) At 25 feet I put the first 5 dead on and the 6th was in the 9 ring! Now I know what all the hype about classic S&W revolvers is all about! I have a 9mm M&P that has been terrific, but there is something about putting my hands on those smooth wood grips and letting the .357s fly!! Can't wait do it again!

IMO...until you can shoot a K-frame S&W revolver, you can't shoot!

congrats on catchin' the fever!

Hi,
They to me are the best and most accurate. And the K frame again to me is the best handling. You will enjoy your M13 like I do mine.

Two of my favorite S&W are 13's.

I just recently got the 4" model, and it has jumped right to the top of the favorite list. :) Now I think I need a 3 incher. ;)

Regards

anybody have a suggestion for a good IWB holster for my 4"? giving it serious consideration for CC when I want to give the 9mm the day off.

Congrats on your new model 13. It seem that a whole new generation of shooters are rediscovering the joys a good revolver can bring.

I can't advise you on an IWB holster but when I carry my 4" model 19 it's in a Bianchi Model 7 pancake style holster and an untucked shirt or with a jacket. It's very comfortable and hides extremely well.

Very nice model 13s. I'm kicking myself for getting rid of my
3" model 13 a few years ago. Sold it to a good friend. Hmmm.... maybe I can talk him out of it...........

Nice M13s. Wish I had one, but I do have a 65-5, 3" which is my favorite K-frame!
