Very nice example of my favorite gun. Be aware...you cant stop at just one.

Is it an "S" or "N" prefix?

Worth every penny, look at what 700 bucks will get you in the new gun market today.

That's a pretty one. There are more powerful revolvers made now, but the 44 Magnum is still awe inspiring to many shooters. I freely admit that I find the 29 difficult to shoot for fun. I have one mainly because I feel like I should. Bet I haven't 300 rounds through mine since I got it in 1986. It was 10 years old when I bought it and it looked like it was used even less than that.

i have had my 29-2 since 1976...i bought it new and $350.00 for it was way above what other guns cost....but...well there was that inspector callahan factor....enjoy it!i'm so glad that i didn't sell mine off some where along the way

It's an "N" prefix. It feels quite different in my hand compared to my Model 29-10.

The grip on the Model 29-2 feels beefy and muscular. The grip on my Model 29-10 is more thin.

The stocks on your 29-2 will also fit on your 29-10. I have a 29-10 I changed the stocks on because I don't care for the current style.
