I agree... 30-06 or a 300 Win Mag, yes, but a thousand yards with a .308 is really pushing it. Just my .02

I would agree with both of you here. 800 seems more realistic with this rifle. However, I'm happy just getting to 500-700. I have a long rifle for 800+ and if this rifle gets there then fantastic. She'll have to be walked in but not just yet. I probably won't be shooting her now until my move to Texas is complete, which is a bummer but the move is great!!
