I received my new S&W 43C today that S&W sent me to replace my 317 that had a cracked frame. I shot about 100 rounds and the trigger pull is a lot better than the one on my 351C. I shot a little to the right and a little low. I need more practice. That is why I wanted this gun anyway. I can shoot 22 Colibri bullets (no powder-just primer at about 350 fps) in my garage. It also comes in a new cardboard box. Photos included.

I am officially green with envy now! I am very glad to see that they are starting to ship. I will have to pick one up next year.

I ordered mine today. Been waiting 23 months, that's enough. Bob!

Wow, you actually got one! Good job! Now I really have hope that these are on their way to distributors...

43c

I have been waiting for almost 2 years for this to be available. Buds now has them in stock and I just ordered one. Almost ordered a 351c but glad I waited.

HLG ...

Congratulations !! There's more than a few of us who have been waiting for the 43C to show up ever since it was 1st shown at the 2010 Shot Show. Like revolvergeek, color me green with envy here in Colorado !!

Was supposed to be notified when they were in stock ("wish list" item). What was the selling price? A lot of people got tired of waiting and went for the new Ruger SP101 .22lr instead.

$552 shipped. I dont know why they cost $200 more than a 442? Can someone explain? Is it the aluminum cyl.?

Outdoor Sport's HQ had only 5 in stock when I ordered mine yesterday. Mine should be in tomorrow. Weather permitting, I plan on breaking it in on Saturday. Bob!

I'd be really appreciative if we would start getting range reports in from the buyers, hint, hint.

I don't have much of a range report yet. The trigger pull on my gun is smooth and not as hard as most double-action guns I have tried. It has the Big-Dot front sight which I have to get used to. I shot 40 rounds of Remington Gold and 40 rounds of CCI Mini-Mag and most of my hits were to the right and low at 20 feet. Here is a photo of my first target.

Oh, well. Guess this means that the old one is going to have to last a bit longer:
