My new Smith and Wesson

Thanks! They're about 3.5 months here. One female, one male. Shepherd, Border Collie, Malamute mix - rescue dogs don't 'cha know! Looking forward to the times AFTER about the next 6 months! Right now there's a lot of chasing around.......

I think mixed breed dogs are the best! Rescue dogs even better! We have a Lab/Shepherd/Husky mix female...wouldn't trade her for the world.

Yup, mixed breeds have their advantages. We had a purebred Keeshond and a Malamute Lab. Both GREAT dogs and while I won't bore you with details, the mix (rescue too) was supremely healthy for 99% of her life....even through the 'shish-kabob' episode..... and you know what I mean!!

Oh yeah, the boy - smaller for now and much lighter - is Smith, and the gal is Wesson. They already know their names and you should see the looks on people's faces when they 'get' it!
