I heard a rumor the other day that the mother of pearl dust is terribly toxic, so no more(at least out of the real material).

OK, Got around to making a holster-- first time I've done a decorated holster. The strap is secured by a hand-turned brass Sam Brown stud. I'm wondering if the strap doesn't need some embellishment?

Nice looking leatherwork. I love that color stain on a nickel gun. I agree that the strap could use a little something. The hand turned brass stud is classic. Thanks for posting this one.

but other types of shells also.

My Dad was a local jeweler, mentioned something about dust being bad.

Of course, as a youngster, I didn't listen.
